Dr. Sugarman had more impact on my psychosocial life than any other clinician I've been treated by. He'll explore the complexity of your situation, and make pertinent analogies from his extensive work in psychiatry. His slow and thoughtful (perhaps, Freudian) approach to psychoanalysis markedly contrasts with the current trends in the quick dispensing of psychoactive medications. Though he is thoroughly knowledgable enough about psychopharmacology to understand both it's magic and limitations. At the very least, you will think about your personality and life circumstances differently after working with Dr. Sugarman.

Spend plenty of time with you is knowledgeable and friendly I have seen plenty of his patients leave his office with a smile on their face like him a lot

The Dr is a very caring person and also very knowledgeable he will always give you extra time if you are feeling bad

I can agree that this dr is knowledgable. However, the sessions are not about you they are about him going off on tangent's. Though he does have lengthy sessions, they are more focused on other sumbject related matter. He also is unfriendly. I would take your $ elsewhere

Probably the most interesting and knowledgable physician I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. One of the last psychiatrists that don't fill your meds and kick you out the door after a 10 minute visits. Dr. Sugarman treats the whole patient - and takes every aspect of your psychosocial environment and psychopharmacological regimen into account.
