Dr Carcoana is very dissatisfied with her job and takes it out on her patients. She insists patients have been on medications and they are lying when in fact it was prescribed to another patient only after calling the pharmacy or looking back at the medicines of her patients. She only wishes fir patients to do as she says only and not on the direction of the actual therapists when her job is to preacribe medicines. She is lacking in some basic communication skills. She communicates to you as if you are reading her mind and doesn't seem to mind. She insists she had appts with you when she did not and can easily see this is her scheduler. Dr Carcoana was a very nice lady at first and has become very angry with VA policies and changes and voices it when she should not. I would never recommend any veterans to see her if they already deal with mental health issues such as depression or suicidal thinking. I qould recommend finding someone more ewillimg to listen and not push you out the door before your time is up and gives you the compassion needed for the mental health field. I habe seen other reviews very similar to this and feel they are true.
