Dr. McFadden is exceptional! He takes the time to listen and to explain things in a way you can understand! He is very personable and makes you feel comfortable and you have complete confidence and trust in him doing your surgery!!! He is a great doctor but also a nice person as he has that personal touch!!! Thank you Dr McFadden!

Exceptional Dr. Even I understood, how he explained everything to me. Great surgeon, I woke up! For the surgery that was preformed, I was so greatful for his expertise even on the first time on his meat board. One of the few doctors I’ve met who seemed human first, doctor second. He talked to me at my level of knowledge, was thorough & spent all the time necessary to explain everything fully. He was full of helpful suggestions….unlike another doctor I saw for the same issue who said “your issue is beyond my scope of knowledge” instead of saying “I’m not sure but I’ll do everything within my power to find out”. Dr. McFadden was so gentle, kind & empathetic too. I hope he never retires.

Dr. McFadden has treated 2 of my sisters for different types of lung cancer. His staff is so welcoming and empathetic. He knows his specialty and is absolutely amazing. Thank you to Dr. McFadden and his staff for the treatment of my siblings

Now 2 years from my total Esophagectomy for esophageal cancer and still in the clear ( fingers crossed).

Dr. McFadden is a great surgeon who operated on me in 2015, and whom I follow up with every year. He's recently discovered a new issue which required him to refer me to another specialist and I received a call from that specialist's office within less than a week of my visit with Dr. McFadden. If he says he's going to do something, he does it. His office assistant, Diane, is very helpful too and she also does what she says she's going to do, and it's done quickly.
It's not just me who believes he's a fantastic doctor, the nurses I've spoken to speak very highly of him. He's always very calm, very kind and compassionate.
I always feel Dr. McFadden has my best interests in mind, and he's never too busy (or at least he never appears to be too busy), to talk over any issues I bring up at our appointments. I sincerely hope I never need further thoracic surgery but if I do, I will insist on it being done by Dr. McFadden.

I have NEVER seen such a kind, compassionate, caring doctor/human being. Answers questions, explains. I had total trust in him and his team when I had chest surgery. Friends couldn’t believe I was not nervous. He went out of his way to check a possible problem, to prevent finding it during surgery. He checked with colleagues and results showed not a problem. Even so longer surgery than planned but I still bounced back. .Now I sort of expect this of other doctors/surgeons. He is one of a kind

Empty and compaction are the first things that come to mind about Doc McFadden. The world needs more me. Like him. He seriously makes the world a better place. His care and compassion are the best we’ve ver had.
