Brutal. Receptionist is incredibly rude and dismissive. Went in with foot issues, medical imaging revealed a sprained ankle somehow and was recommended physio therapy. A failed attempt for a venous doppler landed me in the ER where the doctor there diagnosed a severe gout attack and prescribed medication. So what is it?

Carried on with the suggested physio therapy to which the PT agreed that this is not a physio issue but a likely medical one. Trying to get a follow up appointment was as difficult as pulling teeth as the receptionist was adamant that an appointment was unnecessary. Almost 2 months after the first visit, I'm not any better, but at least have an appointment upcoming.

Receptionist never answers her phone. Very frustrating, especially since I am waiting for very important test results. Rude and inconsiderate. Dr Taylor is excellent as usual.

Let me start off with stating that I have never written a review before for a product or service. That said I feel compelled to do so today. Not regarding Dr. Taylor who is amazing, thorough and very professional. This review is for Dr. Taylor's receptionist. I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor's for over 10 years and I have to say that my experience with the receptionist is that she is abrupt, rude and rarely answers her phone. I was left on hold for over 30 minutes and when she finally answered she was flippant and dismissive. The receptionist makes you feel like you are an inconvenience, which is the opposite to how Dr. Taylor makes you feel. If the office is so overly busy and over worked, perhaps an additional receptionist needs to be hired or someone who enjoys their job. Someone like, Dr. Bechbache's receptionist would be lovely. Sorry Dr. Taylor, but I am sure I am not the only person who feels this way!

Absolutely love my family physician. Takes time to explain and to investigate complaints. Never makes you feel rushed.

Staff old fashioned, rude and temperamental. Impossible to reach by phone and won’t do email correspondence because they refuse to adapt to patient needs in today’s world.

Dr. Taylor has been taking care of my family for the past 5 years.
The past few months have been difficult for me, and I am blessed to have such a caring, kind and compassionate doctor. She is so calm and understanding and takes the time to listen to me. I am an anxious person and having her as my doctor, makes me feel totally calm. She takes the time to answer any questions I have and I never feel rushed when I am with her.
Cheryl her receptionist is also very kind to me and I am surprised to see some of the ratings people post.
The way I see it, if you are rude and demanding to anyone, I would not blame the person for being rude in return. Try being nice to people and you may just be surprised at how nice they are to you.
My family and I are blessed to have Dr. Taylor as our doctor and hope to be her patients for many years to come.
I am not sure if she is accepting new patients, but if she is, I promise you will be in good hands!

How does the receptionist still work there? Her temperament is quite... strange and her etiquette is embarrassing. It’s like talking to an angsty teenager. Working in a medical office involves being in a physically and emotionally taxing environment. Being a receptionist involves providing customer service and dealing with unhappy clients. That’s the job you sign up for when becoming a medical receptionist.
Every review comments on her poor bedside manners.
A guess would be she hasn’t been replaced yet because Dr Taylor has the same attitude issues but uses her receptionist to keep a clean image of herself.

I have been with dr.taylor for 5 years and have only gone to her for my annual check ups because there is a 3 month wait to get an appointment. I have been to more walk-in clinics than her office. She is dismissive and does not take the time to listen to what your concerns are.
Her receptionist clearly hates her job. She has no telephone etiquette, is rude, and will hang up the phone on you. I have to constantly follow up. It has been 6 months and I have not received my results for my blood work. The requisition was incorrect. I literally feel like I'm micromanaging her staff. Get it together.
