I learned only one thing from Dr. Janeway and that is that doctors will lead you into questions and answers so that they can pin their own opinions of you onto a diagnosis. Even in just one meeting with Dr. Janeway to see if he is a doctor for me he pinned multiple diagnosis on my records that were untrue and can never be deleted. Be wary of Psych doctors such as Dr. Janeway, once they give you a diagnosis even if it isn't true it will be with you for life. Very unprofessional and judgmental doctor. I would not recommend him to anyone.

this doctor should not be practicing medicine! i came to him with a problem and he gave me all sorts of drugs(mind altering and toxic to the liver) after i was in 7 days of withdrawal he refused to help me and told me to "go to St. Vincent Hospital .he abandoned me and cancelled my appointment with my phycologist. he is a Charlatan! hod not go to him or West med for treatment , they do not care about your problems

Correct diagnos, but after been a patient for two years I would've expected a lot more progress. Finally decided to go to somewhere who specialized in Trauma/PTSD and have gotten much better results in one month versus the 2 years I saw Janeway. He's a very nice guy but I don't think "talk therapy" is a very effective approach - mental health professionals need to be skilled in various treatments that address the nature of your problem.
