Joel was my doctor for years . I was overmedicated, he had me do genetic testing then never used the results and had me on the wrong meds - some of which interacted with each other, would harass me to pay his bill as soon as I left his office, and he wasn’t straightforward with the payment structure. When I told him I thought his billing didn’t make sense he got very defensive and talked himself into a corner. Then he asked me not to report him.

Joel was my doctor as a child into my teens, he was inattentive, over medicated me, fell asleep during session often and kept no sort of confidentiality. Now he’s my mothers therapist which is toxic and inappropriate. He is a yes man who is not helpful in terms of personal growth, tools and skills, boundary making or any other type of productive style.
