I had a good experience with him in North York General Hospital for removing my kidney stone and after that in his office for removing my stent. He is very patient, caring and knowledgable . Also he answered all of my questions, one by one.

I was referred to him about my Ed condition. As I was explaining my symptoms he was disgusted and wasn't behaving professionally. He offered no solutions and had no interest in treatment for me.

My wife called them after a year and surprisingly they couldn’t find her referral . Our family dr send another referrals for myself and my wife and surprisingly agin they lost our referral. I called and they confirmed they have the referrals but when I called again to follow they couldn’t find it. The staff doesn’t care about your health. Stay away from this Dr specially if you have an emergency. It was a waste if time and I have requested for a referral for another Dr who actually cares about you.

I had a prostate resection 10 months ago by Dr. Stanley Flax that I paid $6,000 for. It was supposed to help me get better, but not only did it not get better, it actually made me worse. Before surgery, I was told that it would work after a week, but I had a lot of problems following surgery. In particular, I had catheter for over two weeks followed by a month of bleeding. I kept calling Dr. Flax and he told me that I will get better next month, then he told me to wait 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, and so on. In the end, the situation has become worse than before the surgery. I saw the reviews for this kind of surgery before the operation and more than 95% of patients were happy with it, and the rest said that the success rate is more than 85%. I still think that this kind of prostate surgery could be good and effective if done by the right doctor.
