Biography
Direct communication with patients is a must in today’s technologically advanced world. Texting and e-mails are common but do not take the place of a direct conversation with patients. I strive to reach out to my patients to explain, discuss, and listen to their surgical issues. St Luke’s offered me one of its first surgical residency positions back in 1995 and I continued my journey as a board-certified member of the surgical staff. I enjoyed the privilege of performing the first surgical procedure at St Luke’s Anderson. I currently perform surgeries for hernias, gallbladder disease, thyroid issues, moles and skin lesions, small and large bowel disease and some breast issues. I also perform screening endoscopy/colonoscopy. In the right context, I can offer open, laparoscopic or even robotic methods. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my wife and two daughters. As a native of Boston, I still enjoy my New England sports teams.
