DON'T GO TO DR.FAWCETT! Do yourself a favor and RESEARCH him first! He is known for many many medical mistakes and if you just ask nurses and even other physicians most will warn you of him. He gets off on charges only hecause of money and the standard of care law! He will make mistake on you and walk away,literally...handing you off to doctors far away and you'll never hear from him again. He is into money and not patient friendliness or care. He prays his procedures come out right. He shouldnt be practicing. Beware.please please pick another surgeon. Check npublic records and the hospital to see how msny known mistakes he makes. My nurse s said how unfortunate it was that I got him...he is known for making mistakes. So do homework and know that we write reviews to hopefully help SOMEONE else before he ruins there life.

Prior to surgery I had an Endo/Colonoscopey performed. I was in excruciating pain felt like a 4 x 8 was being ramed up me. The nurse's told me to shut-up "...other people can hear you screaming.." Dr. Fawcett, apparentley was oblivious to this. I was told to go to emergency room from there by nurses who also refused my request to speak with the Dr. When it came to having a Nessianfundoplycation performed Dr. Fawcett explained to me that I could have "difficulty swallowing for a few weeks". What I went through was 3 months of only able to get cold droplets of water down my throat. When I explained this to him he replied' ...that's what I said difficulty swallowing." I should have sued!

This jerk dropped my husband as a patient because he had to reschedule a surgery due to illness. We gave them 4 days notice and they still dropped him. Dr. Fawcett seems to be caring at first but it's really all about the money. He should review his Hypocratic Oath. Very Unprofessional and Inconsiderate.
