Dr. Sean Boutros is an excellent plastic surgeon. I had breast cancer in both breasts. I needed a bilateral (double) mastectomy. My breast surgeon, Dr. Liz Lee, and my plastic surgeon, Dr. Sean Boutros, coordinated both surgeries to be the same day, which is what I wanted. The lymph nodes were checked in advance and the blood flow was increased in advance, so Dr. Boutros was able to not only use DIEP and PAP flaps to reconstruct, but the nipples were spared also. This sort of reconstruction is much like an organ transplant where all the blood flow is reconnected such that the transplanted tissue is alive and thriving. The surgery was a great success. The healing was a few months and difficult, but Dr. Boutros has put together quite a wonderful team to help with questions, tips, etc.. His team responds quickly and is very kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Boutros. His surgical capabilities are superb and his track record is impeccable.

A willfully deliberate, deceitful, manipulative con, of sorts, who is ego-centric and, therefore, completely indifferent towards the patient’s actual concerns, requests, thoughts is void of any interest in and/or concern for any of his patients’ own ‘outside’ input.
He’s a pushy, imperious con who lied his ass off to me by making false promises about my procedure’s expected outcome, acting like a leading expert in the field — not to mention some kind of saint for having done similar, free surgeries for kids, though far more different, much lesser/easier — in which I was his first adult surgery of the kind. And this, I was not told by him, ever. Rather, his drugged-out nurse told me the day of my second post-surgery check-up, during which time it was abundantly clear that it was a failed venture, resulting in it not turning out anywhere near as perfect as he’d assured me, over & over again. It was simply practice, and despite it being for actual medical purposes, he still declared it an elective surgery, took my $27,000 cash, didn’t do anything for me, whatsoever, the many times I returned to get it fixed or redone/altered. In fact, I never even got to talk to him for longer than 10 seconds, ever again. Nor did I ever, really, aside from day one, when he medically assessed my problem, immediately, in a totally incorrect but also unknowable way, and then proceeded to flip out and
tell me it might be a year if I didn’t sign-up that very day. This, after already having had 4 surgeries prior to him. Never gave me proper antibiotics or tried to fix the underlying problem.. just said that surgery would do the trick, despite my infection was fought by handfuls of doctors - having been recurring for over a year. And yet, low & behold, the infection returned as soon as I was given the all clear, and he just told me, over e-mail, through one of his assistants, that I just needed to squeeze the s*** out of the part that’d been operated on, which was just like trying to destroy 30K worth of fragile property. Then I was sent antibiotics I specifically said I was allergic to, and so I actually had to wait 72 hours before they actually even got around to instructing me on being my own nurse/doctor/patient) AND before actually ‘helping me’ (in the simplest way imaginable) to alleviate any of what the infection dead done to what was his shoddy-ass work…

He wasn’t there between any of my 3 surgeries, nor post-surgery. He barely acknowledged me throughout it all — NOT during our 4-month endeavor, AKA MY own personal hell.. and only ever stopped in to say ‘hi’ and ‘looks great’ during MOST EVERY LAST ONE of my scheduled, post-OP appointments, before leaving me to his assistants, whom he’s always tell to get pictures, sometimes ONLY speaking to the one or more of them present in the room with me before leaving once again without ever even acknowledging me as a person, much like he did during our first few appointments. And that was because I didn’t think he was right at the time — which he wasn’t (at all), as it turns out — and simply wanted him to do a lesser surgery. As such, that’s the only day I really got any of his time, which he spent doing nothing but focusing in on the site of my blatantly obvious medical dilemma while proceeding to point out how bad it looked and how that could affect me with other people, as well as within my own self.. something I’d never ever cared about or even considered. That was followed by his summarizing — and probably making up, in part, or entirely — an actual effing psychology experiment that was vague and somewhat irrelevant, at best, as that had nothing to do with my maybe wanting to pursue something or someone else — something not so completely irreversible, for better or worse — but, rather, did pertain to but one thing and one thing alone: his own vanity, his selfish need to have it his own way and his own self-advancement in that field and in techniques he now uses in his new method for breast surgery, etc. Oh… And when I was at those appointments, which were - mind you - out of the way and during a time in which I was in constant agony/pain, I was made to wait for hours. NEVER EVER did I come anywhere close to having anything done on time, and had I known the appointments were to be just about my having my picture taken for his own research or what have you, I’d of never gone to any of them. The only time it wasn’t just for pictures was when I demanded to see him concerning something I saw as a pretty clear mistake or failure.. To this, he responded and gave it a look, and then, no more than 15 seconds later, he grabbed a q-tip, grabbed my head, told his hot assistant of the day, ‘Watch This’ and just tried to carve what was missing into the soft & mushy, post-surgical skin amidst the problem area I’d attempted to show him/talk to him about. And then just left. After 3 surgeries, which should’ve been

My son had a bilateral otoplasty with Dr. Sean Boutros in March 2020. Three months later, we are over the top impressed with his results. Dr. Boutros is a talented and skilled physician. He also has an incredible bedside manner. At our initial consultation, he helped to answer all of our questions and really helped put our minds at ease. He spoke to my son and was incredibly genuine in talking about the procedure and results. Something that really stood out for us was when Dr. Boutros prayed with my son and both myself and his dad just prior to going back to the operating room. What more can I say...I felt incredibly comforted knowing my son was in capable, Christian hands. Without a doubt, we would highly recommend Dr. Boutros!

Dr Boutros is a fantastic surgeon and person. I had a large recurrent skin cancer on the center of my neck that required a large excision. I was worried that I would always have a defect there in such a noticeable place. Dr. Boutros reconstructed the area, and it is almost imperceptible. He is truly a gem and the best!!
