Before you have any surgery performed by Dr Kattine, ask him if any of his patients have passed away under his care. My husband died under Dr Kattine's care! Instead of focusing on the worst outcome after having colon surgery (sepsis) he focused on alcohol detox. Apparently, they have common symptoms. Yes, my husband drank. When the nurses asked me about his drinking, I told them he quit a week before and never had any signs of detox. They decided not to believe me. For the first 3 days in the hospital my husband was declining. Dr Kattine never once talked to me about what was going on with my husband, on the 4th day my husband was in ICU, on the 5th day my husband died from severe sepsis! If he had been diagnosed even 1 day earlier, he could have survived. Dr Kattine never reached out to me to explain about my husband’s condition. When asked why he stated "I was too upset"! He could have cared less what I was going through.

Dr. kattine removed my gallbladder unnecessarily!!! The biopsy of my gallbladder was completely negative! He ruined my life and I am now disabled with chronic diarrhea. I spoke with 2 other specialists and they told me that I should have never had my gallbladder removed due to my height and weight. He never considered it.
They used the HIDA Scan to determine my diagnosis for removal. The scan is completely inaccurate!!! An ultrasound and bilirubin blood test should be done also.
By removing your gallbladder, it could kill you. It's very important for your gallbladder to be intact unless you have stones. I had no stones and it was removed for no reason.
I have almost lost my life several times due to him removing it.
He had no sympathy when I discussed my chronic diarrhea to him like it wasn't his problem now. He referred me to several GI doctors and they all wanted to write prescriptions for meds that caused me blurred vision and others cause heart problems that are outlawed in other countries.
His smug look on his face when I saw him last after my surgery was disturbing that he could have cared less but he got his money. It's a $50,000 surgery.
I would not recommend this man to work on any of my family or friends.
From a healthcare provider of 30 years, I wouldn't recommend this man to anyone. He ruined my life.
"A concerned patient"
