It is increasingly worrying how difficult it is to get ahold of this doctor when he prescribes new medication. I've tried calling the office prior to an appointment and no luck, with emailing as well and the receptionist does not seem interested in helping especially when they cannot even spell my daughters full name correctly. I would not recommend he is semi retired and has no time. His staff is unable to help either.

We found him highly observant and he asked questions and listened. He spoke directly to our 11 year old and treated him like a person, not a child. We talked about extreme damand avoidance and he didn't dismiss our concerns, treat the symptoms as "just anxiety" or question whether our child is autistic, as we've had other professionals do. Very non-judgemental, understanding and willing to understand and accommodate our child's needs.

Arrived with my 10 yr old daughter and husband after waiting months for the appointment. Greeted by front desk with paper work that is asking us to sign for permission to access her school records. When I ask why a doctor would want that she says it’s because my daughter has a behavioural problem. I inform her that she does not and I believe there is some confusion. My daughter was very excited to possibly be meeting someone who could help her rid her of a reoccurring infection she had been experiencing since age 3. We meet with the doctor and while staring me in the eye he asked why were there today and as I began to answer he stopped me and said I wasn’t asking you, I was asking her, and then turned his gaze to my daughter. He seemed to be a setting the tone for the visit, she went on to tell him her problem and his next question was : did your mother tell you that?”It’s readily apparent that he felt we had an agenda. We explain the circumstance that has us there and that we are looking for a diagnosis and treatment we have been offered some ideas from other doctors and are hoping that he can test for some of these things. He tells us he doesn’t believe in any of those diagnosis and won’t be testing for those. He was very rude and demeaning, condescending and unhelpful in general…I almost wanted to ask who hurt him but that would be caring and at that point I realized he didn’t care at all and that I would be following his example. This gentleman,…and I use the term loosely, seems more concerned with controlling a narrative and making sure you know who’s in charge, instead of listening and helping. I believe he has outlived his ability to want to help and therefore should consider retiring for his patients sakes and possibly his own. Dear sir; travel and kick your feet up and stop terrorizing small children and scared parents. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO SEE THIS MAN!!!

Dr. Gorodzinsky has fallen from grace. He was originally a kind, helpful man, but now he is uncooperative, unyielding in his opinions, and rude. I have been visiting him for years and have only recently noticed this during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Gorodzinsky is a very caring, attentive dr. He was the first step in a very vital process for our daughter and continues to support us everytime we ask. Would highly recommend, especially in situations where parents and children are unsure.

We started seeing Dr. G when my daughter started Grade 6. My daughter was misdiagnosed as being Mildly intellectually delayed and ADD. The psychologist (who was the Board’s Psychologist- which we paid for was horrible). Dr. G met with Megan and assessed her and said she was not delayed but she was sitting in a classroom absorbing nothing. She has severe ADD. Dr. G always made Megan feel special and smart. He was her biggest advocate - writing letters to the school, her GP, helping with her IEP, giving us a plan for our daughter. With medication, tutors, strategies and a lot of hard work on our daughter’s part he encouraged her to do her best. He had her reassessed by another psychologist in London who was amazing and he had her blinded - meaning the psychologist could not see any of her original results. As suspected she was not delayed at all but did have severe ADD that impacted on her memory. He made sure her original results disappeared from her school records. Megan has worked very hard and Dr. G was there for her and continue to follow and encourage her and advocate for her up until now. He believed in her. Megan is almost 18 now and was accepted to Queens, Western, McMaster and will be attending Wilfred Laurier. She graduated with Honours and won an award for Perseverance and Resilience. Megan invited Dr. G to her graduation ceremony which was an hour away from his home and he attended. Dr. Gorodzinsky is an amazing physician. He is caring and smart and truly advocates for his patients. He is a huge part of Megan’s success and she was just thrilled he was there for her graduation. He believed in her. I highly recommend Dr. G and we are going to miss him. Thank you Dr. G!!

He is the best pediatrician in the City. Gentle, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and has a great bedside manner with kids.

He has been a wonderful doctor to me my brother and my sister. He is funny, nice and very helpful. We will be sad when we can’t go to him anymore when we get too old.
