I am more than pleased with Dr Hartzfeld. I had an L5-S1 fusion. It went very well and I felt confident throughout.

A fine surgeon. Did a fusion on one spinal joint and a laminectomy on another joint in lower spine
I was walking without cane in 2 weeks.
It's been exactly one year since my surgery and I feel very fortunate that he did a great surgery on my back
After years of increasing back pain. I am now 100 % pain free

Very disappointed with this doctor. I went to see him for lower back pain referred by my primary physician who wanted a preventive treatment to avoid surgery. His only words were "you do not need surgery". Never received alternative options. The visit lasted 5 min. Very unprofessional. I will nor recommend this doctor.

This doctor and his staff are wonderful! Highly recommend! I recently had cervical spine surgery as well as lumbar spine surgery three years ago. He’s caring and kind. I’ve never had to wait a long time and his staff accommodated me when I became mixed up on the appointment date and I was seen by a Nurse practitioner who was equally caring and professional!

Over an hour wait to see Dr Hartzfeld every time i had an appointment!!!! Office manager is real snooty to. If you don't have much going on then by all means see this Dr. he is a good Dr. he fused my neck . but as far as this time around something has changed !
