Upon our initial meeting with the doctor, he was not open to discuss potential problems that could arise-telling us "we should leave any problems to God and we shouldn't borrow any."And of course there were major complications that not only could arise but did arise contributing to the death of our family member. After the funeral some of our family ran into other people in our community that had also lost a family member due to "sloppy" surgical behavior by this doctor. Not only did this doctor leave us hanging for the weekend while our family member hung in the balance between life and death he went out of town with our loved one in a coma only to let them die while he was away. Bad form I say for a doctor who you have ultimately put your trust in as well as your loved one's life. The only doctor who was on the level was the nuerologist that he had come do a consult with our family and his business associate, who in his absence told our family that it was only a matter of time.
