I had a bad experience with this doctor. This doctor and his nurse cannot be trusted. I was in the middle of an appt with him and he walked out and went in to see a other patient while I waited. He and/or his nurse confiscated a medication that was prescribed to me by another doctor. I am currently seeking another PCP.

I just started seeing Dr. Torpey after having a miserable experience with my past primary care physician. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew that I was in for an entirely different experience. His staff was very friendly and professional. I did not feel rushed or like I was "just a number". When I was able to see Dr. Torpey, he spent a lot of time talking with me about my past medical conditions and concerns. He really took the time to thoroughly explore and explain possible causes to my conditions. At one point, he even pulled up a graphic on his computer to show me what exactly he was talking about.

Dr. Torpey is thorough, friendly, and treats his patients with respect. You get the feeling that patient comfort is #1. I look forward to my next appointment!

Placed me on high doses of medications like Xanaxes that I became dependent on and had to detox off after getting in trouble with them. Why did he put me on the Xanaxes when people have so much problems with them? very frustrated with him.

He is by far the best doctor. I am young with anexity, he sat in the room for a hour while I was talking to him and having a panic attack. I never had panic attacks before. When I went in to see him I was talking to him and went into one. I thought I was having a heart attack. He sent me to make sure my heart was healthy just to be safe. He truly is a great man. Every time I go see him he cuts a huge part of his block off to talk to me. I have never had a doctor so caring. I am not on meds and he never pushed me to be on any. I do it the natural way. Sense he gave me techniques and changed my diet I hardly have attacks anymore. His staff are truly wonderful.

I have to say that Dr. Torpey is by far the BEST Doctor I have ever had or

even had contact with. Not only is the Doctor great but his staff is AWESOME!

I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it is to not feel like a number

when going to an appointment. Dr. Torpey and his staff (Nurse Kelly and

receptionist Karen) are kind, caring and sincerely want to provide you with a

great experience. It is amazing to have a Doctor and a staff who knows you and

wants to listen to what is going on and not just prescribe you with drugs. I

almost did not want to write this review because I wanted to keep them all to

myself but realized that this team deserves all the praise in the world. Also

I realized that other people deserve the same great care that I have received.
