Same rating as Dr. Steven Levine! They used to be a great office. I & family members have been patients for years but since they merged with NY Winthrop Hospital the place is up side down! All calls go directly to Winthrop, not the doctor's office. If you're lucky they may relay a message but don't hold your breath! The message they give you is that someone should call back within an hour. Sometimes they do, most times they don't. A family member needed a medication renewal , left 3 messages with Winthrop and no renewal was ever done. Upon my amazingly getting thru to the doctor's office before hours, they said they never received any such message from Winthrop. So you can see that it's not the way I want to be treated, as there' s no personal care anymore. It's all a financial benefit for the doctor who did not take his patient's care into consideration and is dangerous to your health. My relative was in tears after not taking a much needed medication for two weeks. Every single calls go to Winthrop who has no idea who you are, what your medical condition is and is just like an answering service. Very frustrating when a medical issue needs attention. Stay far, far away! They really screwed this office up & I doubt things will get better any time soon!
