Dr Hugo’s claim to fame is put some cream on it does not like to listen to your on going problems and come up with practical and proper solutions, he sends you for testing that is not even relevant. Urology is definitely not his strong point either quite clueless which is apparent after you specifically see a urologist about your issues. Would definitely not recommend him or ever go back he is also arrogant and clueless on how to be empathetic.

Please, for your mental, physical, and emotional health, choose another person to take care of you. I was blatantly and ruthlessly mistreated and humiliated by dr. hugo. In my already hurt and fragile state, he was rough, unsympathetic during the exam., He used filthy, unprofessional terms/language during the interview process. At the end of the appt. he said," Well, think hard before coming back here (I live outside of Cranbrook, ) because next time, you'll be getting surgery. " ? I would not allow anyone I love to be subjected to this kind of abuse. I kindly thank the assistant for her knowing glances, tight hand-holds and soft shoulder that I cried on.( her star rating would be 4 , only taking one away because I dont understand how someone could knowingly work with this person day after day.) I got myself out of that office as quickly as I possibly could, in a cloud of humiliation and needing a hot shower and a good psychologist.

Dr. Hugo is one of the best doctors I have met. He patiently and thoroughly explains what he is doing and all the options of care. Fran is amazing as well. They are both exceptional and provide amazing care!

If I could give zero stars to Fran, Dr Hugo’s receptionist, I would. She is horrible! She never follows through when she is supposed to unless you constantly are pushing for it, she forgets to call, she rarely answers the phone and can be extremely rude when she does. Dr Hugo is kind and I like him, but if I could switch Gynocologists to avoid dealing with his receptionist, I would.

I'm surprised to see negative reviews as my experience with doctor Hugo was exceptional. He is a competent and kind doctor who recently performed my total hysterectomy. I felt supported through the process and well informed. Yes, the wait times are long but this is not within his control. What is, is how he treats people and I can say I felt like he valued my right to live a healthy, full life. He has given me the opportunity to live a pain free life and for that, I am very grateful.

Dr Hugo has helped me so much. I went to see him regarding some issues after having my baby. He noticed some scar tissue I had and told me he would have to put me under to get it removed. I was very nervous but he was very kind. Fast forward to the surgery, we got in there and realized the damage was alot worse than we thought and he repaired it all for me! Definitely would see him again for future issues.

Poor service 2/10. Staff is amazingly rude, . Unfortunately I did not have to choose Dr Hugo and team, they were chosen for me by the hospital.

Don't waste your time with this clinic if you are a GYN patient. You will wait for years for an urgent appointment because they only care about you if you are pregnant.

Thank you Dr D Hugo for doing my colposcopy at the Cranbrook Hospital. My procedure was right on time. Dr Hugo was very knowledgeable and showed me and explained to me what my issue was. He was very patient and seemed caring. He continually asked me if I was in any discomfort while doing the procedure. Ill be more then comfortable to go back and see him in 6 weeks. He nurse was great as well.
