Dr. Garcia has a nice personality but I am changing doctors. I don't go to doctors and I avoid them as much as possible but I am not feeling well. I figured I'd get referred out to a gastroenterologist. Now I don't understand the healthcare system but I hoped these doctors know each other and I could get a referral to a doctor who understood their job. I was referred to a gastroenterologist that was so bad I wouldn't trust him to properly apply a band aid let alone diagnose my stomach issues. That isn't what I have against Dr. Garcia. Maybe it doesn't work like that. I spoke to my family because I was distraught over the incompetent gastroenterologist I dealt with. My brother was having stomach issues previously and he had an Upper GI series done to check for a variety issues including ulcers. I called Dr. Garcia's office hoping to get that test scheduled but according to her office assistant Tina Upper GI series doesn't detect ulcers. She isn't a doctor. I didn't want her opinion but you have to go through her and I am not berating a subordinate when I asked to speak with the doctor and that wasn't happening. So I was left with the dummy assistant who hopefully isn't trying to move up in the medical profession. You don't need a college degree to use Google Tina. Horrible staff.

Dr Garcia is the best, plain and simple. I know she sees older folks and I am one of her younger patients for sure. She sincerely cares and likes to spend time to make sure you are comfortable when you leave. She is an awesome doctor, person and I consider her a friend. -MM

Dr Garcia is the best!!! No she doesn't come to the phone as she is taking care of patients in her office. I have ALWAYS gotten a call back in less than 8 hours plus the staff will get her if its important. When Dr. Garcia gets booked up and I really need to see her, she gets me in. I have been to the top doctors (in & out of town) but Dr Garcia with her knowledge, care, personality and the time she spends with me is beyond words. If I need help with something that is not her specialty she will refer me to a specialist in that area. I have Complex PTSD, ADHD and severe headaches plus the normal issues that come up (cold, Flu etc) and to have a doctor that comes in, has a huge smile, with such a positive attitude is priceless. It also help to finally get a correct diagnosis!

Generally I have not had to wait longer than 20-30 mins before being seen in the front or back. She speaks a lot because she is either questioning you or responding to your comments while in putting your comments/ symptoms directly into her laptop. She has always been attentive to me in just about every visit. They can draw lab work at the office instead of going to a separate facility which is great because it saves me extra trips to new places. Finally after 4 different doctor facilities, including the base hospital in Vegas, Dr. Garcia seems to be the first doctor to listen and find ways to solve and correct my health concerns.

told her about a joint pain and didnt refer me to get it xray on it. she just prescribed me medicine. She can never comes to the phone. You have to leave a message and theyll get to you in 48-72hrs.
