I really liked Dr. Butkiewicz as a doctor, nice bedside manner and thorough, but forget trying to get an appointment with her or getting anyone to call you back. I was pregnant and very sick with a severe sore throat when I tried to get through to her office for someone to see me. I could only leave messages for the answering service and emergency service and still nobody called me back in 24hrs. Unfortunately such a lovely dr. has to work in one of the worst offices in hoboken. I had to go back to my old dr. in Manhattan because I could not wait 2 days to be seen when pregnant.

Dr B is great--thorough and efficient, sympathetic and willing to listen. She's also willing to take time with the patient and not rush them out the door. I'd recommend her to anyone. But the Center for Family Health's scheduling staff is truly awful. Even the answering service will say "yeah, good luck getting them to call you back. Every other call I get is a complaint about them."

Dr. Elise is great. Very friendly and quite thorough. Her immediate staff is quite good too however the general receptionist on the ground floor and also on her floor that check you in are nothing short of HORRID. Don't judge her by the awful staff that will greet you before you reach her.

I have been seeing Dr. Butkiewicz for 5 years and I'm very pleased with her. She has a friendly manner, is always respectful, knowledgable, and keeps asking questions until she gets to the heart of your problem. Her nurses are excellent. I gave Staff a 3 only because the receptionists are horrid - don't always answer the phone and long waits for appts.
