Seen him for several years until his receptionist was just awful to communicate with. You literally have to wait once a year to see him and that’s for about five minutes maybe ten. I’m now in the queue for a new rheumatologist for 12-18 months. This is what the health care is like in Alberta.

Dr Martin is top notch. However, his new nurse needs some experience. Unfortunately, my current issues are making it difficult to get some help.

I found the best doctor I could ever ask for. Dr. Liam is amazingly smart, thorough, organized and ask me about how I feel and when my health problem started. He made the appt fun and light and I got the diagnosis I needed.

Always direct and to the point. No wasting time. I enjoy that. His staff, particularly Sarah Wall, is an excellent and helpful communicator(s).

Dr Martin is a gem. Personable and his sense of humor is fantastic. He has gone above and beyond, when my family doctor can't be bothered...ultra sounds, referrals, as well as bringing in a therapist, after my appointment with him. At times, dealing with lupus, chronic migraines and life in general, can become overwhelming and I needed the help that was offered. She was awesome too!

I have reactive arthritis diagnosed right away problem is he will not fill out AISH forms when the department wants to hear from him. Ie reduced my work shifts down to one a week with covid none. Other than that he is knows his stuff. Including medications when I showed him what biologics can do to someone who has had pulmonary embolisms.

Sarcastic, dismissive, abrupt, unprofessional. . What else? I don’t know why this guy is in the clinic...he’s impatient and unhappy. When you are in pain and phone the nurses, they may or may not return your call.
A five minute appointment yearly to be treated as if you’re a bother?

Dr. Martin has been my Rheumatologist for several years. He is very thorough and listens. Dr. Martin's experience and knowledge are well known in the field and in my experience pays off for me! Waiting for an appoint. is simply part of the drill - he takes time with me as he did with the person before me too! He is a genuine, caring doctor.
