I called to see if my family physician would prescribe medication for a urinary tract infection that I've had for the last 2 weeks (was out of town).Upon returning home I called the office the next day. I knew I had a UTI because I have had this in the past. I was told by the secretary/assistant that since Dr. Tucker has never given me a RX for this before I would have to go to an urgent care facility. I was denied medical care and she's been my family physician for 2 years. Never heard of such an outrageous practice.
