Dr. Conroe is just fantastic. Sadly he is in my experience one of the few of his profession who seems to be in psychiatry because he actually likes people and wants to help them . I don't think they make them like that anymore. He is so positive! His office is kind of messy but he listens, he cares and he has a great manner. Wish more docs could be like him!

Doctor Conroe may be the most knowledgeable and thoughtful doctor I have seen in my many years of fighting my illness. He listens, answers questions, is honest and upfront and does not play mind games. I have met many doctors who despite their professional credentials are not competent and often frighteningly reckless in their treatments. Doctor Conroe in contrast is thoughtful and careful. This makes him an exemplary physician who understands that the world his patients live in can be a frightening place and he tries to work with you to make the whole thing seem less terrifying and help you to be more productive and settled.

Dr. Conroe is an extraordinary physician who combines comprehensive knowledge of psychopharmacology with an exceptional level of empathy. His ability to combine techniques from various schools of thought coupled with his personality make him both a gifted clinician and a unique person. I recommend him unequivocally.

Dr. Conroe is an extraordinary person and psychiatrist. He seeks to direct his patients through the most effective paths to stability and emotional health. I have experienced many psychiatrists before him and he is, indeed, a doctors' doctor.

Dr. Conroe is a top notch psychiatrist. I have been with him for the last 14 years and he is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever worked with. He is extremely knowledgeable in both theory and practice and constantly updates himself with the newest research findings. He is truly interested in you as a person and finding the medication(s) that work best for you. Also, though he is quite busy, he is always able to find time to get you an appointment in a reasonable amount of time (two weeks or less). He structures the therapeutic relationship and the visit quite well. The only drawback is that he does not take insurance. But, I have no problem paying cash for a service as excellent as his. Not only am I a patient but I've worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. The doctors I work with are no where near as competent as he is. I am truly lucky to have found him.

Dr. Conroe is a great psychiatrist. He is respectful, listens, returns phone calls promptly, and is thorough. His fees are reasonable. Don't be distracted by his terribly messy office. It is not a reflection on his competence. He has no secretary and a tiny office but this has no bearing on his practice except that it translates into a lower bill for his patients.
