I have been a patient of Dr. Remick for going on 9 years when i was diagnosed bipolar. Dr Remick and the staff of MDA gave me my life back. I go in once a year and converse by email once or twice and have my levels checked about every 6 months... I feel so fortunate to have found him.

Dr Remick is amazing. I think he's mostly retired, so I'm lucky to have him. I'm currently in rehab, but when I went off work, he called privately as soon as he found out, and made himself readily available to me. He's brilliant, friendly, and his processing speed is probably 5x that of the average human. He pioneered "group psychiatry visits" which are ground breaking and have changed the face of psychiatry. I believe he's also pioneered some medications, so he's also somewhat of a pharmacological genius too?

Ron Remick is a brilliant psychiatrist, who has made groundbreaking strides in his field. He is compassionate and makes himself easily accessible to his patients. He responds almost immediately to any question via email, with kindness and expertise.

Dr Remick is an amazingly respectful man. He worked with my sister and several friends and each one spoke of his phenomenal skill at assisting them with their emotional challenges. So greatfull.

I have been treated by Dr. Remick for quite some time now. He is responsive, caring and works with me like an equal to understand how I'm feeling and suggest the best course of action to better my health... like teamwork. His 'tool kit' is large and varied, including so much more than just medication. As well, he keeps up to date on the latest therapies and psychiatric news, often mentioning them during his clinics.

Dr. Remick also runs an excellent adult psychiatric clinic via the Mood Disorders Association of BC, making it easier for people like me who live more than an hour away, to attend online remotely with efficiency and to hear (and learn from) how others in similar situations are coping with their illnesses and medication/therapy.

I have only positive things to say about Dr. Remick and the BC MDA.

My wife has been treated by dr. Remick for almost 25 years; she is and had been very sick over those years. If it had not been for dr. Remick I firmly believe she would have been institutionalize or worse. His MDA program is second to none !!

It is a privilege for me to write a review of this remarkable physician.
I have been under the care of Dr Remick for approximately two years. I was referred to him for anxiety, depression and PTSD. In 2019 I suffered a series of losses including the dissolution of my marriage. I felt overwhelmed, emotionally crippled and disconnected.
My first appointment with Dr Remick ( in person. Now on Zoom due to Covid) was memorable. He sat directly in front of me and not behind a desk. He maintained eye contact and listened attentively. He did not interrupt or finish my sentences. He was not judgemental but was kind, supportive and reassuring. Over the course of treatment he engaged me in all decision making. Medication was prescribed sparingly and judiciously.
Dr Remick has made a huge impact on my life. Not only has my mood improved but I have the tools to deal with my PTSD. With his encouragement I made major lifestyle changes. With diet and regular exercise I lost 40 pounds and am in better physical health than ever. Not only is Dr Remick my therapist but he is my role model. ( I am also a physician and Dr Remick has inspired me to take on new challenges. )
His reputation of being one of the leading psychiatrists in the country is well deserved. He is proactive and a visionary. His promotion of the Jumpstart Program for mental health is just one example of his progressive approach to wellness. I can attest to the merits of regular exercise as it is a very effective antidepressant.
I feel that I am a better and healthier person due to the exceptional care I have received from this dedicated, intelligent and empathetic physician.
