I have just found another doctor. I stayed with this man because I was too lazy to look around for a new doctor, and he was close by. I recently had the last straw with this man. I finally reached my boiling point. He has a way of getting you back in his office so he can make his money off of you. He will run a lot of test and don't tell you the results unless you remind him. He is too busy running back and forth because he over books, and needs to push you out of his office for the next person. He never gives you all the information you need to know at your visit. He always tell you he will go over the rest of the information next time. By, the time you are done, you have spent a lot of money on 3 vists for something he could have told you in one. P.S. if you are on meds, he will without notice cut you off until you come in his office again.

My copay was 20 dollas and he charged me 50 dollars plus tax!! Had me waiting in the waiting room for over 2 hours. NOT a good doctor didn't even know what I had. On top of that he didn't even know who I was and I have been going there for the past 10 years!!! I am switching to another physician. He's the worst doctor I've ever had. Talk about just wanting to make money, that's his only goal. Doctors like him should have their license revoked. Only thing he cares about is making money

This quack misdiagnosed cancer. He told me i had irritable bowel syndrome and prescribed medicine for it. After seeing him for almost 2 years, I was rushed to the hospital one day after an appointment with him with Stage 3 colon cancer. If he had done any kind of test it could have been detected earlier. He is the worst, most careless, slovenly quack. He should have lost his license years ago. Stay away if you value your life and family.

I've been a patient of Dr. Franklin's for over 8 years. The reason I have stayed is because he's okay, provides basic care. But if you're looking for a 5-star hotel, he's the equivalent of EconoLodge: you'll get the basics, but not the bells and whistles. But I have to agree with everyone's comments. The wait time is horrific, and his bedside manner is not very professional at times. Overall, 1) Be prepared to wait at least an hour for your appt. He's not time efficient. I don't like that he goes into the back room to transcibe patient notes after each visit, which further delays waiting patients, 2) He tests everyone's A1c, which I think it good, because it uncovers people who many have pre-diabetes and never knew. This was my case, but I've been F/U with him every 3 months, and I've lowered my A1c to within normal limits. Not all Drs. test this, so I think in this area, he's outstanding. 3) His staff are professional, but not the most friendly, although never rude or mean.

We have been with this doctor 4 years now and have been happy with him. His bedside manner may take getting used to, but he is direct. Is very friendly and has always listened to my concerns and addressed them to my satisfaction.

Constantly trying to convince patients that they're diabetic. His Staff is friendly, but his bedside manner is extremely poor. He doesn't seem to care to listen to what patients have to say, and the lack of communication about a patient's condition (with the patient) is staggering. The doctor doesn't care to discuss anything with a patient, and only ever seems set on what he thinks things are without listening whatsoever. Terrible doctor, worst bedside manner, and a complete lack of caring.
