My father in law had the worst experience with her and so did my mother. She shouldn’t be a doctor because she doesn’t know how to treat a person like a human being.

She was very rude when explaining to me my o-called diagnosis. She asked if I had experienced this diagnosis before i told her it lasted 2 weeks last time. She said you wont be in pain after 2 days of meds. I'm like how would she know what I'm going to feel like considering we don't even know all the results yet! She told me she was going to keep me off work but she yelled at me saying i cant take you off for 2 weeks i told her i never asked to be off and don't want to be off that long i just needed to know if i need crutches when i go to work because im not allowed to have them at work or work with crutches . I wanted to go back but she has me off. She acted like I had no knowledge of diabetic meds too that my insurance could cover. I explained to her my dr and I are trying to find a substitute to cover my januvia i was on. She assumed I was on medicaid and I told her no I work and have insurance thru my company. She went on to say we you do know to call your rx provider and get a list of diabetic meds covered by ins. I said well yes ive done that but my dr and I are working on a substitute still. The overall rating I'd give for this dr would be low especially for her attitude and bitter bedside manner. I feel for the people that work with her. She might be knowledgeable about medicine and diagnosis but she has no compassion cold and acts like she don't care about her patients.

She is unprofessional. She is quick to judge and unable to communicate to people with Autism . She ridicules rare disease patients and ignores life saving protocols all for her ego.

If you've treatment concerns, you can't talk to Ms. Blanda, but you can talk to a patient liaison (gatekeeper) named Melissa. Melissa will readily pass your concerns to Ms. Blanda for review, but Ms. Blanda won't do anything. She wrote me a letter full of errors proving she didn't know much about my condition and wasn't concerned about the terrible treatment I received in the E.R. she oversees (of course the letter was otherwise polite). I got through to Ms. Blanda's boss, Mr. Custodio, who basically did what she should have done.
