This monster screwed up my epidural and in a panic state knocked me out to miss the entire birth, in a zombie state for 3 hours and blind for 12 hours. He is a jerk who should lose his license! BEWARE!!!!

Dr. Burkhardt is a nice anesthesiologist and his work is worthy. However, his billing department is questionable. They will call you and try to create a contract if the bill is not paid in full. In addition, they will attempt to charge interest of 18%. People do not plan emergency surgeries and typically do not have all of the money to pay on demand especially, when they are billed from several different doctors. It is in my opinion, unprofessional to constantly call patients when they are making payments. My suggestion is unless you can pay the full amount when you are approaching your unplanned surgery, then I would recommend not using Dr. Burkhardt.
