He didn't even let me explain he was rude and didn't answer any of my questions told me one thing then when I receive his report by request he says horrible things like I'm emotionally unstable because I teared up yes I'm upset I ride event horses and I'm 30 and on a walker then he goes on to say he feels I'm over exaggerating which is funny cause he had no tests to show that I would never send someone to him EVER!

Dr. Eggers did a hip replacement on my husband who is type 2 diabetic and obese. He was compassionate and straightforward with both me and my husband. His staff was wonderfully supportive as well. He also did an excellent job managing my husband's pain both before and after the surgery. Even the surgical wing staff at Baptist had nothing but praise for Dr. Eggers. My husband was high risk and he did a fantastic job with him -- and also with managing my worry and post surgery recovery expectations. God bless you Dr. Eggers!

Dr. Eggers performed a total knee replacement on me, and I am quite overweight. He did not say anything about my weight. He is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr. Eggers performed a total hip replacement on me. I was born with a congenital hip defect, and my legs had become different lengths over time. I needed the replacement before I was 40. My result was amazing! Except for the scar, no one would ever know I'd ever had a problem. His bedside manner is all business, and sometimes I felt like we miscommumicated regarding my post-surgery restrictions, but I was fairly well-connected in legal and medical fields, and everyone said he was the best. I have since relocated, but am considering returning to Louisville when I need my next hip replacement.

Doctor will not work with patient's who are overweight - (not referring to obese, but overweight). Supposedly he is very good at doing knee and hip replacements, but if you are not, and I quote from him "Rail thin", he will not assist the patient - it would have been nice for him to have suggested physical therapy or bracing while the patient tries to lose the weight. However, he will tell you to lose weight and not offer any suggestion other than to go find another doc.
