I had a bad reaction to anesthesia during surgery at Virginia Hospital Center - Arlington. Dr. Kirshner was very helpful in explaining what went wrong and the measures they undertook to fix it. He was also very helpful when I spoke to him a few weeks after the procedure in suggesting ways to avoid reactions in the future. His office staff, however, was very unhelpful and never returned my calls. I had to drive back to the Virginia Hospital Center in person in order to leave him a message.
