I would definitely go back and follow-up with her. She discussed various treatment options for my condition and allowed me to choose which one I feel I could do.

Dr Bembo insisted that my diabetes was not gestational! She prescribed insulin and was EXTREMELY aggressive with the dosage! I was very concerned with her approach and for that reason I asked my maternal-fetal medicine physician for his opinion! He was appalled at the amount of insulin I was taking, his exact words were :" that is too aggressive!" I also told him about her insisting that my diabetes was not gestational he assured me that she was wrong as he did an AC1 test in the beginning of my pregnancy and the results were within the norm! When I saw her next, she informed me that I should not get off insulin after I give birth! I NEVER went back! I asked my maternal-fetal medicine Doctor to control my gestational diabetes for the remainder of my pregnancy! Lone and behold, after I gave birth my diabetes disappeared! Dr Bembo is incompetent, and would not answer my questions! She had me so worried, I was in tears! Please AVOID her!

I was referred to Dr. Bembo by my GP to check for a parathyroid tumor. After waiting 2 weeks for the test results (and discovered Dr. Bembo had them by day 10), I called her office. She had the results on a Friday, left the office early for the weekend and couldn't be bothered to call her patient with the results. I was told she would call on Monday. Early Monday afternoon, after not hearing from her, I called the office. The response by the receptionist, "She's in with patients." I retorted that I AM her patient and should receive the same care as those who are with her at present, with money in their hands. I had already paid her, I expect to be treated properly and not discarded. Dr. Bembo knows the gravity of the situation, but chooses to neglect patients in order to see as many new patients as possible; more patients...more money. Avoid at all costs!

I have used Dr. Bembo for over 5 years. I transferred to her when she left the practice in East Brunswick. She is competent, efficient, easy to talk to and a great MD. Love her and would recommend her without hesitation..

I needed a Dr.closer to home so I found this practice. Dr. Bembo was not my first choice but I was running low on meds and since she had many openings, unlike the other doctors in this practice, I bit my lip and made an appt. Worst mistake. She was very rude and wouldn't answer any questions. She wouldn't even listen to me. What is very scary is her medical assistant that took done my information and allergies and she got them wrong. I have anaphylactic reactions to certain medications and she wrote stomach pains?? Will not go back. Rude and incompetent. I would like her friends and family to stop writing good reviews for her.

I have been a with Dr. Bembo for many years and followed her when she changed offices She has helped me so much and I feel so much better since I have been seeing her. I have recommended her to many people and will continue to do so. Thank you for helping me Dr. Bembo

Dr. Bembo has been my physician since November 2004. She helped me through my battle with cancer. She is a doctor who looks out for your best interest, tells you the facts, listens with compassion, understands your personality and treats you as an individual. I trust her completely and have followed her to different practices over the years no matter the distance. I've trusted her with my father's health. She is the best of the best.

I highly recommend Dr. Bembo to patients at the physician's office where I work. When an endocrinologist is needed, I give them her name and location. I have been her patient for many years and can honestly say that I was so discouraged and my health was so poor when I first went to see her. I had been to so many doctors searching for help. She was compassionate and patient from the first visit on. I remember leaving that day feeling as if I had finally found the doctor I needed. My thyroid levels have been under control and she doesn't just go by the numbers but how you are feeling. There is no way that she doesn't get a top notch rating from me. I had previously been treated by a doctor who dismissed my condition and concerns. She is now conveniently located in Princeton.

Stay away !! Ihave never come across a doctor as rude as her. I have not been disgnosed as gestational diabetic but since my numbers were close to cut off to be on the safe side my obgyn recfered me to Dr bembo. she Prescribed me insuline even without looking at my weekly numbers. She is my way or high way kind of doc. Doesn't like questions being asked. So when I asked her if I can have a week to cut carb n start excercise n try n manage my glucose level she just lost her cool. This all was happening within a weeks time. I just moved to another practice n very happy with them. She treats people bad n lacks respect n professionalism. Stay away n don't waste your time n money on her.
