Dr. Rob has been my doctor for 22 years and he is great. Always on time, and he always asks about my life, and is very thorough with everything he does. If something seems off, he orders all of the tests necessary and is very reassuring. He also always tries to find samples or discount cards for medications I may need. I always leave feeling good about the visits, and know that I am well taken care of.

It takes time to get to know a new doctor and he can be quite blunt. My husband presented with some possibly odd pain and because of this the Dr. had him admitted the hospital rather than take chances. Later, this new and overwhelming pain continued and moved into his stomach area but like a lot of men he didn't tell our doctor everything and wasn't taking the pain meds the way he should. He was so ill, I could see he was too stoic & the palliative care nurse talked to him so he understood pain meds function (by taking them exactly as prescribed). He passed away: Pancreatic Cancer I could feel Dr. McIntosh was devastated. Craig spent his last five days in the Moog & Friends Hospice House which helped with the pain filled days and nights and made his final few days peaceful again. Difficult to assess but I am going back to see him, no one to blame life can be very cruel taking such a good man too soon and yes, a heart can break.

Dr. Rob McIntosh saved my life. I have Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatiuge, Mild Brain Injury. He has always listened well, been very supportive and is knowledgeable about regular and natural health/wellness. I think he deserves an award for having 100 FM-ME patients.

His pap test was brutal, would much prefer a woman Dr. for this. I have not had another with him even though he keeps at me.

I had him as a Doctor for my teen years. He was not good. He never listened. I could have coughed my lung into my hand and he would have said "It's nothing. Come back and see me in two weeks if it's still out." Pap tests were horrible with him. I bled everytime. His bedside manner was brutal. He was rough and uncaring. My parents still see him and like him. Maybe you have to be over a certain age before he cares about you?

Dr. McIntosh has been our family doctor for over twenty-five years and I wouldn't consider changing. He has always been frank and professional. I appreciate his candor but I can see how some people might view it as insensitivity. He is not always running on time, but never seriously so.
