Horrendous experience with Dr. Riddick. Very elitist attitude. Does not care at all. Acts aggravated and impatient when you are describing symptoms. Worst bedside manner I've ever seen. She has a very bad reputation in Richmond. Most people who are patients at the clinic avoid her at all costs. She is known to intentionally withhold test results until she "feels" like getting back to you. Recently went through this with her. The clinic nurse even said to me that this doctor is terrible at getting back to people. Readily admitted that my test results were sitting on Riddick's desk for over a week and had no idea why she wasn't getting the results to me. Patients are an imposition to her. Do not recommend at all.

Dr Riddick is patient, explains things to you and is very proactive. She is open to a more holistic approach rather than just taking a pill. So glad we found her.

I am a relatively new patient and I find Dr. Riddick knowledgeable, easy to talk with and particularly focused on longevity and health maintenance. One of the best doctors I have ever met....love her approach.

My experience with Dr. Riddick since my previous doctor retired has been mixed, but mostly bad. She initially supported me by giving referrals to specialists for some gut issues I was having. However, when it came to mental health issues she was less than supportive. She refused to listen to my medical history, my family history, and said she “only prescribes Zoloft” for that. I loved my previous doctor who very carefully explored medications with me due to some major family history with bad reactions to SSRIs.

I see the complete dismissal of any other options as negligent and dangerous. It has also been difficult to get appointments outside of work hours. She cancelled 3 appointments in a row on me when I had a time sensitive paper work demand that required an appointment.

Dr. Riddick is a LETS GET REAL type of doctor. There are people out their that cannot handle that. She goes out of her way to accommodate her patients for sure. My opinion only but I am thinking that this is for patients that appreciate her. "It is in most peoples nature to go out of their way for positive minded people that want to get healed". We have just been put through one of the worst health issues that life can put people though in the last 5 months and she has been a tremendous help in putting my husband back onto a healthy track. after spending 4 months in the hospital and coming out completely changed our life has turned a new corner to day the least and having your doctor in your corner is definitely required to make a new life a long life. Her get real approach ... has benefits to people that need to start over again and live a longer life. Isn't that our ultimate goal?
*Her punctuality could be improved.

I thought she was a wonderful doctor. She delivered my daughter in 1990 and if it wasn't for her fast acting and expertise my daughter might not be here. Thank you Elaine Riddick and her bedside manner was always pleasant and professional with me.

Years ago I saw Dr Riddick. I was given a prescription for risperidol after 5 mins in her office. Those pills messed me up but after her misdiagnosis of a different variety she left town. I was then given another doctor whom did the same. It wasnt until I moved to the city rbat I found out part of what is wrong. Thanks

My mother recently began seeing Dr. Riddick when she began seeing patients in Richmond. This doctor definitely thinks that she is better than anyone else. Its hard for me to believe that her specialty is Geriatrics because she has zero bedside manner and does not know how to speak to elderly patients. She is dismissive in all of her patients concerns and sits behind her computer and types. She has mis-diognosed several of my mothers ailments and has put her through several painful procedures because of her incompetence.
This is definitely a doctor you want to avoid!!!
