I had just had surgery to repair my left heel bone the day I came in to see Dr. Mian. The surgeon had ordered very strong pain killers that I was unable to tolerate. I had made an appointment to see a provider so I could obtain the medication that was working for me. I was prescribed 60 tabs of the dilaudid (which I could not tolerate) and I wanted 5 mg oxycodone. I had brought all the dilaudid with me to show the physician and possibly flush the dilaudid down the toilet in exchange for a prescription of 60 5mg oxycodone. Dr. Mian told me she would only give me 15 oxycodone in exchange for 60 tabs of dilaudid which are much stronger than the oxycodone. I was very upset with the reasoning and rationale. I thought it through and through thinking that maybe the doctor knows better than I but facts are facts and numbers don't lie. This is what brings me to this complaint. She did not provide appropiate pain relief to me which leads me to believe that she is doing the same w/other patients.
