Dr. Schokking is an amazing doctor! Always gets back asap if he’s busy. Stays professional.

He is extremely sexist and presumptuous, almost any concerns I mention over multiple visits have a very consistent outcome stating that I'm overly worried or overreacting. One of the worst tendencies he has is to dismiss other doctors and professionals who have provided me with prescriptions and referrals (saying they wasted my time and diagnosed me incorrectly). There are so many other stories it feels endless. I am very shocked to know that he frequently delivers babies... I'm mortified considering how these women are likely treated. I attend walk-in clinics the majority of the time now and every so often book with him (thinking maybe I am overacting, or he can't be that bad truly), but each time I still leave in tears with no answers to my concerns and feeling completely judged and invalidated. I say he's sexist specifically because he sees other females I know (with similar outcomes as mine) and males that I know who happen to have great outcomes/experiences each visit and seem to be taken seriously. Insane difference, so if you are a female, take caution!!

He is very caring and knowledgeable. Runs behind at time but he is very busy between office and hospital....life happens

My daughter has been off her medication as she cannot get a hold of this "doctor". This is the doctor that put her on these bug pills and now she is being extremely emotional, acting out, suicidal and on and on. What the hell is wrong with this office?!!! She cannot get through, she cannot even leave a message! If anything happens to her, I will sue this asshole!

This man is unprofessional and not very thorough. You're taking chances with your health, see someone who has pride in their work, the quality of their work and their level of diagnostic accuracy.
Lucky for me, his colleagues have his back and corrected his mistakes. If not for that, it would have resulted in litigation for gross negligence. This was a very serious case.

Dr. Schokking, although to the point, is a kind man and efficient. He remembers his patients, and I have been a patient of his for 22 years, and so is my 21-year-old, and her child will be a patient too. We simply adore him as a Physican.

Dr. Schokking is amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. If you want him to shoot from the hip and tell you like it is he will. This is so refreshing, I hate the run around the Bush scenario.

Intimidating upon first meeting in a walk-in clinic (spoke fast, instructions not very thorough, but I was young and that was YEARS ago). Because of that and other unimportant reasons I didn't see him for some time (years) but when I finally did, he was incredibly kind and helpful, attentive and took his time with me. He has been helping me sort through several difficult issues ever since and I'm really thankful to have a family doctor at all, but especially one who cares.

Dr Schokking himself is good, he sometimes is late but is a great doctor and really cares about his patients! his secretaries on the other hand need to seriously be let go. they have zero compassion and clearly do not want to be there to do their job. its quite sad..
