Dr. Merchant is wonderful. He treated my husband's gall bladder. He performed the surgery and consulted with my husband. He was patient and answered all of our questions. He was sensitive and kind and has a good sense of humor. He is very competent, 30 years of experience and was very knowledgeable; he went into great depth explaining the gall bladder disorder my husband had and what the surgery entailed. My husband is doing better now. He took the time to explain everything, so we didn't mind waiting an extra 15 minutes or so. I'd highly recommend this doctor.
