Dr. Hussey is the pain management specialist with NASA Neuroscience & Spine Associates in Naples, which has ten top physicians in several offices specializing in Neurology, spinal issues (mine is stenosis), migraine (my wife's problem), and more. They also have an excellent Physical and Occupational Therapy center which I use and recommend.

I thought I needed spinal surgery to walk more than a short distance, but Dr. Hussey and a skilled team gave me two cortisone injections four months ago and I was instantly pain free. I may need other injections, but three a year is considered safe. He has always been on time, very pleasant to talk with, and explains complex issues extremely well.

I think Dr Francis Desmond hussey completely screwed up my back he did a joint facet rhizotomy on me that I don't think even needed to be done. He has a used car salesman like attitude to try to get you to do a surgery. I'm in worse pain now 5 years after my surgery from this guy he is not a good doctor. In my opinion. He'd much rather pump you up with drugs so you're depending on him just like the crack dealer that knows you're riddled by pain. And his staff at the front desk is absolutely atrocious and unorganized. I would seriously consider any other pain management doctor in Naples besides this quack.

Went to Dr. Hussey for lower back pain. He does it in steps. Nerve Block on right side, come back within 2 weeks. Any relieve? No? Let's try left side. Come back. I have has 2 nerve blocks with no relief. If it didn't work on one side, why do the other side? Just had a epidural on the right side. Come back in 2 weeks.
I feel like I am being churned like in the finance industry. He won't do shots in the office. it's always in the surgery center where I have a $150 copay plus 20% co insurance.
Why can't he do an epidural on both sides in the surgery center when I am there? Why do I have to make 2 visits? I'll tell you why. Money!
I've been to orthopedics who for a $20 copay give me a cortisone shot (albeit for temporary relief) on both sides at the same time. None of this come back for the other side in 2 weeks nonsense.
I've wasted time and money. I will tell him when I see him in 2 weeks!

Dr. Hussey is one of the smartest physicians that I have ever met. He has helped me tremendously. I have been Dr. Hussey's patient for 18 years. In all that time, he has always been conservative and appropriate in prescribing pain medications for me and has been willing to work with me to find alternate, non-habit forming treatments for my pain. I have never had problems getting an appointment to see him when needed and he is always on time. He never makes me wait for hours on end like other doctors are known to do. He is caring, considerate of the effect that pain has on my life but also respects my time by being truthful and straightforward with his assessments. His observations of my condition have been spot on. I recommend Dr. Hussey very highly.

Read the ratings for Dr?HusseyDr?Hussey would more properly be named Dr Hustler. Where does one begin to rate a respectable professional when there is nothing worth rating. This man is a self serving "licensed" medical doctor that runs a pill mill with a flow of patients that pursue him for monthly heavy narcotics prescriptions. His examination process is brief and inadequate. If you are in need of truly professional help, do not apply. This man is not qualified.

The office and operating rooms are just plain dirty. It’s a real production line with very little input from the doctor. Cannot believe how hokey this place is

We had a terrible experience the worst we ever had with a Doctor and his staff. He claimed he had experience and knowledge but we were so afraid to allow him to address the medical problem after he and the Staff treated us so poorly. We were stuck paying him for NOTHING.
