I had surgery by him many years go. He corrected the problem that the family doctor ignored. However, years later and with another gynecologist I was told that Dr. Yackel undid some of the work a previous gyn. did so I would have to go back in for more surgery. So, I would not trust him again.

Hello. When I had lived in Richmond B.C. for sseveral years, I had a serious health issue that came up. My own family doctor did not take prper care of me. But, this wonderful gynecologist did. I had a left. ectopic pregnancy, was 2 months pregnant and was in terrible pain. This specialist figured out what the problem was, operated on me and took wonderful care of me. He is what more doctors need to be...Christian....! He further helped my deceased husband find faith in God who was ill with malignant melanoma. Both he and his wife Marie with there for us over and above the 'call of duty" you might say. Although it has been many years, I have remembered Dr. Douglass Blaine Yackel and his kindness

Dr. Y. wanted to do hysterectomy when I was 35. I was fine with my uterus till 22 years later.
