He misdiagnosed my husband. Was treating him for "inflammation of the bladder". He went to another physician after 3 months of unbearable pain. He had to have his bladder and prostate removed because of epithelial bladder cancer. His Physicians assistant, Bill Smith, had so little knowledge, that he actually told us that "only women get interstitial cystitis" when we asked it that could be the problem. I am a retired RN and when I called from another state to demand that my husband saw Dr. Klimberg instead of Mr. Smith, when a friend took him in to see the Dr., Mr. Smith saw him and told us that Dr. Klimberg was not in the office, although my husband and friend both saw him in the hallway. I am actually beginning to believe that Mr. Smith performed the cystoscopy on my husband..otherwise, how could a cancer the size of grapefruit be missed during the procedure. This was stated to us after the second Dr. did another cystoscopy and removed as much ca as possible. Ileal conduit done

Dr. Klimberg appears very competent but the physician's assistants see most of the patients so one does not see the doctor very often. They are generally congenial and appear to be competent. The practice has a computerized billing system that defies description and is almost unfathomable-- even by the employees. Too much frustration with the billing-- going to find another urologist.
