The visit was quick and on time. Dr Crothers is always on time or early. Very knowledgeable. The best.

Dr Crothers was my Doctor for 30 years until I had to move away. I can honestly say I miss him as my Doctor. He was always very attentive and dealt with whatever my problem was immediately. If I can find a Doctor even as half as good as him I would be thrilled.

Leaving no stars. When I was 18 and had was struggling with symptoms of borderline personality disorder, I decided to see him as he had been my family doctor for my whole life. The moment I brought up how I thought I had BPD, he said "I can tell you don't have it". I had a journal with my symptoms logged ready, and he didn't even ask me to elaborate. He told me it was my "female hormones", and prescribed me a random SSRI. This sent me into a spiral of confusion, I felt invalidated and stupid. 4 years later, I finally got a proper diagnosis for BPD. Dr Crothers could have saved me so much emotional and interpersonal turmoil by properly evaluating me, referring me to a psychologist. Haunts me every day.

Always very punctual and never over prescribed meds or did anything that would cause harm. He was my moms doctors and delivered me 27 years ago. Remained our doctor and treated us like his own and always stayed consistent and professional. I suffered from addictions before getting sober 6 years ago and he never judged me walking in to his office nor prescribed me anything. He was blunt and took the no bull approach which is what was needed. Amazing man truly.

Excellent Dr he always listens and provides great advise. I will really miss him when he retires. He has a great sense of humour as well and does not over subscribe pills or meds that you don’t really need

I am very surprised by the high rating, I guess staff and punctuality make up for his rudeness. He is not very thorough, my husband has been dealing with an ongoing issue for two years and every time he brings it up he's told it's something different. (Diet etc.). Prefer other doctors at this clinic who are more compassionate and listen to their patients.

I very rarely go to the doctors and when I do I have a fabulous doctor at this surgery so I know what good looks like. I also recruit physicians as a profession. Dr Ivan Crothers may have many years under his belt but he is not a good doctor in my option. Rude, abrasive in his questioning, interrupts you before you get to the end of a sentence and has the empathy and compassion of Hitler. Left his office in tears of frustration and will be following up with a complaint. Maybe time to retire Ivan?

I have been his patient for my whole life. He is typically very friendly and can have a sense of humour. lately I have found that he's gotten a bit grumpy, impatient, and to the point. I have a hard time finding time to get to the doctors so by the time I do I have a number of issues that I want to talk to him about but he will only listen to up to two problems. Anything more and he will ask you to make another appointment.

As patient I am looking for a different Dr. as he assumes you are dumb..tries hard to control his anger over nothing..for an experieced and old person we find him to be rude and NOT wise AT ALL..
