AETNA became the health insurance provider for all TX teachers, beginning school year 2017-18. New ins didn't cover my PCP of 19 yrs; I had to find a new one. Tran seemed ok, based off cost estimate, proximity, availability, etc. But, he's terrible & holds prescriptions hostage to FORCE you to come spend $$ in his office EVERY 3 MONTHS. No joke....he demands to see you every. 3. Months, even for routine conditions that have long-term been well-managed appropriately i.e. asthma and allergies. Office staff is RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL & will constantly tell you, "if you don't like it, find another doctor"! Tries to order lots of lab work to inflate his bill. Doesn't care about long term care mgmt and only cares about making money. I will NOT be back!
