This man is a remarquable Doctor! Caring efficient and takes his time explaining in a way that I could understand. Simply put an angel! Wish there were more Doctors like him! I am so grateful he is my Doctor!

Dr. Burwash has been my cardiologist for about 12 years and is one of a team that saved my life. He is the kindest person you could ever deal with. Has quality time with his patient, very attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough. His assistant Donna is most accommodating and knowledgeable as well. His phone call with me today lasted over 1/2 hour. Does not rush his patient.

My first visit I saw him at the Heart Institute in Ottawa. He made me feel so comfortable. Didn’t rush my appointment and was so friendly and explained everything to me. My 2nd appointment was by phone because of covid and again made me feel good. He takes his time and doesn’t rush you at all. He is the nicest doctor I have even had

Have been with Dr Burwash for over 20 yrs and he is a down to earth doctor, genuinely cares for his patients, takes time to explain in layman language exactly the diagnosis, and puts your anxiety Level to a minimum, so fortunate to have him, both he and his assistant Donna are always there for you. Terrible bed side manner. Cold, unfriendly and uncaring. Man is in the wrong business. I switched doctors after several very poor encounters. Would not let this Doctor work on my SUV.

Dr Ian Burwash has been my cardiologist for 18years one could not have a more professional ,caring, and sensitive doctor. He s always there for you and his assistant Donna is also there for you ,they make a great team. I am so fortunate to have them both , and Ottawa Heart Institute is also fortunate to have him on their team.
