I thank Dr Mequanent for saving my father's life when he saw him in emergency room. The waiting was long but worth it. He is thorough , gentle and took his time. My father is well know and so much better. Great Dr

Very disappointed in this Dr. I took my daughter to the ER with a fever, terrible cough, not eating or drinking ect. He didnt even check her out, he sent her for a covid test and chest xray, he came back 3 hours later, had no idea if the covid test was done, said "her x-ray looks okay & will call if she has covid" when I asked what was wrong with her he said "could be the flu or covid" I then asked what I can do to help her and he said "maybe try Tylenol" and then sent us on our way. after 3 days of her getting worse I took her to the College Clinic and she has a terrible ear infection and bronchitis. The clinic Dr determined she has bronchitis by reading the report from the x-ray she got at the hospital. My daughter suffered much longer then she needed to because he didn't read the report and completely dismissed my concerns. I understand the hospital if overflowing right now but that is not mine or my daughters fault. She is a child and should have been cared for not dismissed and pushed out the door!!

My family has been seeing Dr Ted for many years. He is very knowledgeable and gets things done. Rhonda at the front is rude and very dismissive to patients.

Doesn’t have a clue how to manage severe chronic pain make it doubly tuff by sporadic attendance in hiss office. Insists on face to face sppts

I've seen this Dr. for years. Will change when I can get a female Dr. I feel he never hears me. Never questions me or prods to get more info. Just yes, no. Except to tell me to lose weight. Never gives you test results. Just doesn't seem to care. Love Monique and Rhonda but they can only do so much. I will find another Doctor eventually.

It's always a challenge to get in and when you finally do, I often wonder if he actually hears what I am saying. Just poor unless you need a prescription refill or you have a flu or something simple to deal with.

Unfortunately saw this dr in the ER in grande prairie. As someone who is also in the medical field his knowledge of medicine and patient care terrifying. I would not let this guy cut my toe nails. Zero bedside manner, doesn’t listen to patient concerns, zero reassessment. The nurse advised him I had some questions regarding my bloodwork. I waited another hour or so before asking the nurse again because I know the ER is a busy place. To the nurses surprise he hadn’t been in yet, when she went to find him turns out he went home without popping in. The nurses on staff were more knowledgeable and attentive to my condition than he was. Run. Just run.

Had a scaphoid fracture and he advised me to remove my cast in 2 months. I followed his directions, went to the U of A hospital to have the cast removed at month 2 (as I was in Edmonton for school at this time), and they were appalled that I had been told to wait for 2 months. I now know that scaphoid fractures are very susceptible to necrosis and should be checked on much more frequently, or else they may require surgery if the breakdown is not caught early enough. Not impressed with his knowledge!
