Biography

Kimberly L. Jones, MD, graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1988. She earned her medical doctorate degree at LSU Medical Center-Shreveport School of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Jones completed a pediatric residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She continued her training with an adult pulmonary fellowship back at LSU in Shreveport, followed by a pediatric pulmonary fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She is certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine) and pediatric pulmonary medicine (American Board of Pediatrics). Dr. Jones is a pediatric pulmonologist at WK Pediatric Pulmonary Specialists, part of Willis-Knighton Health System in Shreveport, Louisiana. She treats children from birth to age 21 who have any kind of lung disorder, including asthma, chronic cough, pneumonia and chronic lung disease of infancy. Children treated by Dr. Jones are often able to return to things they love, up to and including team sports.
