Dr. Procter is an amazing human being in addition to being a top notch doctor. 40 year ago I moved to Burlington and during those years he has cared for me, my children and now my grandchildren. This Doctor is a legend and alway gets to the root of whatever medical issue we experience. He is always so positive and for 40 years when asked “how are you? ,his reply is always “never been better”. My entire family is so thankful this wonderful doctor took us on as patients in 1980 and continues to care for us. Holly Millar

For more than 30 years, Dr. Procter always took the time to find out what was going well with me and what was going badly with me, physically, mentally and emotionally, in order to ensure that he did a full and accurate diagnosis and that he dealt effectively with any problem that I had. He explained everything carefully, clearly and effectively. As I once told him, he was the real life version of the stereotypical, professional, wise, kind, genuine and caring doctor that one sees in Norman Rockwell paintings and that one always hopes to have as a doctor for oneself and for one's family members. He is definitely a model that all doctors (whether general practitioners or specialists) should emulate.

Doctor Proctor was my family doctor for over 30 years. I still remember advice and words of kindness he shared with me. His impact on my life is beyond question, and I am so thankful to have met him and had to pleasure of being under his care.

I started seeing Dr. Procter when I was pregnant with my first child 29 years ago. Needless to say, by taking me on, he also got my daughter's as his patients. He is the kindest most caring doctor. Always patient and willing to listen. If only young doctors could grasp the idea of a good bedside manner and know that kindness matters.

I do not know how this man does it! His knowledge and true caring nature is outstanding! He once came to see me in the hospital 6:00 a.m. Christmas morning to see if I was OK to go home after spending a week in the hospital with severe abdominal issues requiring surgery. Even at his advanced age, he still holds clinic appointments and can often be seen making rounds in the hospital. Recipient of many awards and accolades from the medical society as well as our mayor, i LOVE this man. He has been our steadfast medical practitioner since 1988. All references he has made to surgeons and specialists have been spot on for treatment.

Always dismissive and unkind, frankly. I only saw him when my regular MD, Dr. Davidson was unavailabl, but he was routinely brusque and dismissive.
