dr ellero was my anesthesiologist during a long and serious operation to remove my infected and enlarged prostate gland. the surgery lasted 4 hours, 2 hours more than usual for this procedure. i believe she may have saved my life because of the trauma to my body during the operation and the excessively long recovery. i of course don't know the details of what occurred because of my unconscious state. nevertheless, i suspect her excellent decisions were paramount to my recovery.
