Ratings for Dr. Mal Nattrass
He has been my dentist for 30+ years. My wife and 3 kids go to him now. Saved us $$$ on orthodontics with our son, used an appliance called a myo munchie which eliminated his TMJ problem, saving us from getting braces. Our other son also suffered sever TMJ, was corrected over a period of 36 months with various appliances.

The reason I am pursuing a career in the dental field is because of Dr. Nattrass! He was extremely knowledgeable and knew so much about my habits just by looking at my teeth (which caught my interest at age 13). I was with him for 3 years of braces and my teeth are immaculate now. 4 years of having my braces off and no further troubles, I am pursuing my career in dentistry because of Dr. Nattrass striking my interest many years ago!! Too bad he is retiring/retired now? :( Thank you Dr. Nattrass!! Changed my life in many ways. Also great service in the office with all of his staff. Very friendly place and being in the office was like being around a big family. And his partner seems like a GREAT man also to be taking over. Beautiful office.

Awful. The worst dentist I have ever seen. I am currently 27 months into my orthodontic treatment with no end in sight (I was told 24 would be the maximum), my teeth look horrible, and he's retiring in 5 months! Where does that leave me? Screwed. :(

The first time I saw Dr. Nattrass I thought he was too quick to jump to highly intensive (and expensive) treatments for my TMJ problems like some other reviewers. I left and I tried other treatments. but...10 years later no help in sight and jaw problems getting worse I returned to him and am at the start of my treatments - the first day I put my twin blocks in I had neck pain relief. He is a bit pompous but I find that is a pre-requisite in most doctors these days but he's funny and very personable. His front staff are okay - not great but not horrible - but his back staff are fabulous. You don't have to wait for months to get your teeth cleaned and they explain everything if Dr. Nattrass isn't around or you have further questions - even offering tips and suggestions. I know he just sold his practice to his partner so I hope the service and expertise continue while he moves into the background a little.

Doesn't really listen to patient needs but has a definite sales routine. Just a money making scheme.

I have both my young children..and he has down wonders for the girls.. and he is very good with them.. and always willing to chat and answer all our questions.. and his office staff is a good as he is.

The office staff are very kind and helpful; I seen him for several years with TMJ problems and I found him to be abrasive, insensitive, negligent and pompous. He is too quick to insist on extensive treatments without trying less abrasive methods first. I have a considerable amount of knowledge about the TMJ treatments available, and he is not up-to-date with his methods. I had an extremely negative experience.

We travelled a distance every month for two years to see this man and never had to wait.He applied an appliance on my son when he was 14 and by the time he removed the braces when he turned 16 it was WOW! He explained every step and made sure we as parents were sure our son would co-operate before investing big $$$ and time. He did repairs at no extra charge and was available to talk to when problems arose. The follow-up is also appreciated as my son still sees him annually to ensure all is well. Thank you Dr.Nattrass

He was one our best dentist. Our son got good orthodontics. His teeth are perfect now.
