help ive been polite patient and do what medical advice is recommended may i please have an appointed i should not have to publicly use this means to disrespect something as promising as this doctor to recieve an appointment im suffering and the unessessary stress you are causing me not giving me an appointment is unessessary if you do not want a patient then tell them

I went to Dr. Smith in Januray 0f 2007 with a swollen thyroid gland...I was on medication that caused this issue and refuse to acknowledge there was any problem..I became very ill by April and lost 35 lbs..became extremely hyperthyroid..I am still in January 2008 dealing with the fallout of this debacle..Dr. Smith called me once in the last 12 months...he is incompetent..and far too busy running around to conferences..to deal properly and care about his patients.

Stuart Smith has been my cardiologist for 5 years and was my father's cardiologist for at least that long. If you are lucky enough to have Dr.Smith, he is on top of the latest information. He is a teacher and leader for other doctors, nurses and cardiologists. He will answer all of your questions. He has worked with the greatest heart surgeons available ... and is extremely skilled himself. Sure, I've waited a while for my appointment, but this has most been rectified by the clinic he has helped to set up at St. Mary's Hospital. This is the yard stick by which the medical community should be measured. Lucky to have him in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.

Several years ago when Dr.Smith was in Ottawa we were fortunate to him look after my husband. He always had all the time in the world for you and never rushed you and treated you with great respect. Unfortunately he decided to move to the Kitchener area. That certainly was a major plus for them.
