I have used him for years. Had a pain in side and he disgonsed it as simple worry and eating habits. After not believing that was the problem and going thur multiple scans and test found he was correct. It was as simple as eating correctly and finding the correct probiotics. He is the man. A true Hudson County Doctor that tells it straight whether you like it or not.

The staff is competent, if not Dr Wayne does make the correct changes. The staff is always on top of things and is ready to help if any problem come about even if it's the insurance's problem they are ready to help. Dr Wayne has a reputation in my family as being the guy you want to go to if having any issues. I have found that to be true and most important, for me, I found that he actually will be there for your medical needs even if you are over dramatic about your concerns. A real good person, great Doctor!

So I was referred to this Dr., I went to see him and he scheduled me right away for a colonoscopy the apt was 7 am, he did not stroll in until 7:20 that morning and everyone was seen before me, even the people that came in after me, around 9 am they finally called me the room, which I had to wait an additional 45 minutes. I was there from 6:45 am until 11:30 am., after my procedure I woke up in the recovery room, I was told that I needed to wait again to see him, I waited there for an additional 20 minutes, while everyone else was leaving and spoke to their doctor. That really upset me since I was told this would only take 2hours the most. So I left the hospital and went home only to feel the same exact way. So I called the Dr office Monday saying I was not feeling good he told me to come in to his JC office, he was a total jerk, he was rude and upset because I told him I am still feeling the same way. That only made me more upset because he charged me again for the visit and all I got was a bunch of prescriptions and an attitude. Trust and believe I will never recommend him or go back for my other follow up. Good luck with this one.

I was referred to Dr Siegel from a doorman in my childrens bldg who he used in a similar emergency and is now his devoted patient. I can see why! I was very sick from diarrhea and was fainting. Emergency didn't come so I was raced to his office. He took me immediately , examined me, treated me and prescribed for me to pharmacy. The next day he called in evening to my kids home to check on me and to ask if I needed him further. I don't get that kind of attention from my FL drs and in speaking to friends here in NJ, they don't get it here either. This man is caring and professional and should be held up as a role model as opposed to most drs today. He is an old fashioned but young dr.

Dr. Siegel took on my father's case while he was in the hospital he was very understanding and knew my concerns. He always gave me an update on what was going on and what would be next. I'm glad that my father had him as a doctor.

I found the staff to be rude, and Dr. Siegel himself to be arrogant and aloof. Specifics: On the day of my first appointment in the Jersey City office, the office staff reprimanded me for not showing up 15 minutes early to do paperwork, which I would have done if they had asked me. Dr. Siegel was not so subtle about trying to get me to undergo an endoscopy at his private facility, even though my insurance wouldn't cover it. When I booked my follow-up visit I was asked which office I wanted to go to. I chose Secaucus. The office building is a dump (but Dr. Siegel's suite is OK), I was kept waiting half an hour, and then I was reprimanded for visiting a different office, where they didn't have my endoscopy results. So the follow-up visit was a waste of time. There will not be a 3rd visit. I didn't care for this doctor or his staff.

Dr. Siegel has an attitude! The girls that work with him are just plain STUPID! Maybe he should pay a little more and get some decent help.

The doc did not ask me about my previous history, symptoms or anything, but only suggested that I get a colonoscopy for the benefit of his pocket only, since he would be doing it! After many consults with other doctors I was told otherwise, that it was absolutely unnecessary which was most evident w/ my experienced symptoms. I found DrSiegel to be very ignorant and rude.
