Dr Monte Jones was on call the night I had my baby. After being in labor 17 hours and every attempt to bring him into the world naturally she gave me my options. I was always delivered every detail of what my situation was with kindness and concern by her. She sat at the end of my bed and always talked to me very caringly and not rushed. Her plate was completely full that night with at least 10 other babies born that day but even through her difficult day she was 100% there for me. I made the choice to move forward with the c section. In the OR they said I could not have had him naturally once they saw him and my at anatomy. I was a first time mom and I would not change anything with my delivery with her.

I seen her for the first time Friday following my ectopic pregnancy she was amazing. She took plenty of time answering all my questions and concerns look forward to using her in the future.

Dr Jones Monte is the worst ob/gym I have ever seen! She is very rude and condescending which are 2 things an on/gyn should NEVER be. I've been trying to get a prescription refilled for over a week now, left numerous messages on the "nurse voicemail". (Can NEVER get a human on the phone YET) no one will return my call and I am so fed up with her, its a shame she is not friendly like the staff at this office. I am currently looking for a new ob/gyn because Jones Monte is a nightmare! I never post reviews but I am so angry at the way I've been treated by her that I had to let it be known. I would never refer a friend to her and I really hope my review helps others steer clear of this horrible " doctor".

I never write reviews- good or bad, but this was necessary. I had not read any reviews about Dr. Jones-Monte prior to my appointment & I guess that was my first mistake. She told me very bluntly twice that if I had a hysterectomy that I would die on the table. She was very condescending when I told her my symptoms (which were confirmed from my ER visit) & she said that what I was saying about my pain was wrong & not possible. (Which any basic doctor knows that fibroids can be very painful- but she said that's not true....) She also said that the doctor's in the ER are basically incompetent & their only job is to make sure you don't die; they don't know how to diagnose things "correctly" & even though she had all my paperwork & test results she didn't believe them & now wanted to schedule her own ultrasound before she would even begin to help me. So my appointment was totally pointless & I have to go back just for her to do an ultrasound that the ER already did. Worst doctor ever.

Do not go to her if you want to avoid a c-section. She must have a condo to pay off in Cabo San Lucas, because she will bully you into a c-section by lying to you about the medical reasons for you to have a c-section. I have great insurance, perhaps that is why she did so with me? There was no medical reason for her to insist on my c-section (though she tried to create reasons, and then she threatened to "bring in the lawyers" if I didn't agree). It was truly awful. Avoid her if you want to avoid a c-section.

This doctor was the worst doctor that I have been to or heard of in my life. She delievered my son who was premature. She did not do one thing in order to save his life. She told me while in labor there was nothing she could or would do to attempt to save him. I lost my angel because of her, I strongely recommend that no one who wants a healthy baby go anywhere near this woman. Not to mention that after his birth her staff got upset with for waiting in front of the office and not inside where there was at least 20 newborns! I couldnt handle it and they made that stressed SO much worse!

Office staff is incompetent and uncaring and argued with me. I asked them to tell the Dr. to call me back but instead I received a certified letter stating that she would not care for me any longer. I never received a phone call from her. Not a good experience to have to find a new doctor to care for me while being pregnant. Nice!

I had no problem with appointments or being seen in a timely manner 95% of the time. If I have something that needs attention they get me in that day or w/i that week. Dr. Jones Monte always takes the time to answer questions and never rushes you out. I had one time when my appt was cancelled because she was delivering a baby. That is to be expected. They gave me the choice to see another Dr and I instead chose to reschedule. During my pregnancy and after I have contacted the nurse multiple times and always receive a call back the same day. I had an ultrasound every month during my pregnancy. I also was in and out if there were no problems or extra questions.

My appointment was erroneously canceled & even though the slot was still open, they made me wait for over an hour, which was extremely common. In 2007, after I had a miscarriage, the nurse asked me how my baby was...uh, deceased. I also found out yesterday that Dr. Jones-Monte never got the files from my previous doctor AND never told me. I had filled out the authorization. Because of this, & maybe because I was an HMO patient, I got the "less is more" treatment from her, even though I just had a miscarriage & my first pregnancy was high risk. Basically, they did 3 ultrasounds in 29 weeks of care, & then only took my blood pressure and listened to the baby's heart rate & told me my baby was fine. Is that really considered pre-natal care? My last ultrasound was at 18 weeks & the doc told me I would not have any more ultrasounds unless there was a problem. Well, how would you find a problem if you're not looking?? I will NEVER recommend her. Their standard of care is pathetic.

Jones-Monte was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with my pregnancy. She also did her best at not keeping me waiting, if there wasnt a problem and I didnt have any questions I was in and out without extra waiting!
