Dr. is very nice in person... if you're able to get in to see him. That's the only good thing to say. In my case he and his assistant caused more stress than helped. Absolute minimal effort of care. Zero consistency in care. Staff with rare exception is often rude . Would not recommend to anyone.

I thought he was great for many years but the last year was different. He only sends you to specialists and cant seem to treat anything himself. Recently I got a more possitive impression from him only to find out he was lying to me about how and why he would stop my monthly script. He assured me that there would be no problems. He has no backbone for difficult conversations. I am so disappointed in him.

Dr. G is a wonderful man who cares about his patients. He's willing to do special testing if need be, and listens to you. His nurse is a gem, too, although I kind of agree with other assessments about the office help.

Dr. Guarnieri has saved my life on more than one occasion, and I'm a pretty healthy, normal individual. He has been able to diagnose what so-called "specialists" couldn't. Once he diagnosed, correctly (confirmed by tests), from across the room by just looking at me (pneumonia), another time, over the phone, again correctly-test confirmed, and after I'd battled with specialists for days about what was wrong. His office manager is a dream to work with, helpful and knows her stuff. The other front office folks aren't as impressive, thus the middle-of-the-road rating on service. I agree with a previous post about the prescription route, but if you aren't comfortable taking prescriptions, he'll work with you to evaluate alternatives and always takes the time to answer questions fully. This man is what doctors are supposed to be and knows how to recognize an emergency. Both he and his office manager make you feel like you are the sole purpose of their work.

Dr g has been my famlies primary doctor for over 10 years. He is very caring and supportive. My sister left his practice because she doen't like to take meds and he will prescribe something first if he thinks you need it, so I guess if you don't want to take meds like my sis, he may not be for you, but if you ask for him to help you find a natural cause or cure, he is right there with you. Even will look into drug trials or research if you ask him about one, and calls you back personally to explain if meed be.
