Dr. Espo is supposed to be the head infectious diseases at St. Vincents Hosp. Best of the best? Tish. He has a pompous overblown ego and very narrow feild of view. He told me absolutely I had no infectious disease there was nothing he could do for me, my symptoms didn't fit with anything he knew. The next internal med doc I saw ran a stool test and found I was infected with C-diff. The gastro doc I saw at At. Vincents before I saw Dr. Espo never tested for c-diff. If I didn't have it when Dr. Espo saw me then did I get it from his hospital? Please I was sick for 9 months with this. Dr. Espo never ran any tests except for HIV and immune disease, claiming the only way I could be infected for that many months was if I had either of these, I didn't. I don't see how an infectious disease doctor thinks c-diff isn't an infectious disease. Run away fro this doctor and St. Vincents hospital
